Patron Services
The Robert J. Kleberg Public Library offers a wide range of services and resources for adults in both print and digital formats. Our automated checkout system makes borrowing materials simple, and our friendly staff is always available to help.
Explore our collection of popular books, audiobooks, magazines, and e-resources through CloudLibrary, offering e-book and e-Audiobooks for your convenience. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Use our Inter-Library Loan program to borrow materials from other Texas libraries (a small postage fee may apply).
We provide free public internet access, Wi-Fi, and wireless web printing for a nominal fee. Patrons can also use our computer labs during library hours.
For research and learning, our TexShare Databases give access to full-text articles from newspapers, journals, and magazines. Additionally, Learning Express Library offers online guides to help with test preparation, civil service exams, and more.
Other services include photocopying, faxing, scanning and exam proctoring.

Juvenile and Youth Services
The Robert J. Kleberg Public Library offers a variety of materials and programs designed to meet the informational, recreational, and cultural needs of children and teens. Our caring staff is dedicated to fostering creativity and supporting the curiosity of young patrons.
In our Children’s and Computer Lab, kids can enjoy free internet access and explore a range of fun and educational games in a welcoming space. We also offer a great selection of recreational and reference material for children and teens.
For tech-savvy readers, our digital collection of e-books and audiobooks for kids and teens is available through CloudLibrary, making it easy to access materials anytime, anywhere.

Patrons With Disabilities
The Robert J, Kleberg Public Library is committed to accessibility for all. We offer a handicap entrance and restroom facilities for easy access. Through the Texas Talking Book Program, Texans with visual, physical, or reading disabilities can borrow audiobooks, large print, Braille, and more—Completely free! Non-Resident Visitors
The Robert J. Kleberg Public Library welcomes non-residents! Visit Us Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and on the first Saturday of each month from 8 AM to noon. Non-resident library cards are available for just $8.00 per person annually, or $30.00 for a family of four, with additional cards for $5.00 each. Visitors are welcome to browse our collections, use photocopying services, and enjoy free 24/7 Wi-Fi with your own device.
